The most dangerous part of inspecting a chimney is usually getting to it. Slate and tile roofs break under foot, steep pitches are a fall risk, and a storm-damaged roof is unpredictable. A drone removes that problem — and you get to see your own chimney, close up, from above.

Shoot it at high resolution
Resolution matters here — hairline crown cracks and open mortar joints have to stay visible when you zoom in.
Walk you through the footage
We go through the images with you and point at what we're concerned about. Being able to see it yourself changes the conversation.

Useful for an insurance claim, for a second opinion, or just for comparison next year to see whether something is moving.

Why it matters

A drone inspection covers the outside of the chimney, and it covers it better than a person on a ladder can. It doesn't replace an interior flue scan — for what's happening inside the liner you still need a camera down the flue, which is part of a Level 2 inspection. The two together give you the complete picture, and neither one requires anybody to take a risk on your roof.
