What we collect

For our visit request forms, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, the property address, the service you're asking about, how soon you need it, the best time to reach you, your preferred visit date and arrival window, and anything you write in the notes. Email is optional. We also record which page of this site you sent the request from, so we know which area you're in. Our server briefly records the IP address the form was submitted from, purely to stop automated spam.

Free estimate form

The homepage and popup free estimate forms are provided by HighLevel (LeadConnector). Information you enter in that form is sent to HighLevel for Apex Chimney to handle your request. Refer to the fields and consent options shown in the form. Loading it also connects your browser to HighLevel's servers; its cookie and consent settings apply to the embedded form.

Other visit request forms

Our other visit request forms send information through this website's own server (hosted by Vercel) and into our own private system, which only our office can sign into. Our office uses it to call you back, to schedule the visit, and to keep a note of what we agreed. If a request through these forms fails to save, the service and urgency you picked appear in our server's error log so we can spot it — never your name, number or address.

Counting visits

We count how many people look at this website and which pages they open, so we know which ones are worth keeping. To tell one person opening five pages from five people opening one, your browser stores a random number for us — it's just a number, it isn't linked to your name, and it stays on your own device for up to 180 days. We also record which website sent you here, if any, along with whether you're on a phone or a computer, which browser you use, and which country you're in.

We don't record your IP address, and none of this is shared with an advertising company or anyone else — it's counted by us, on our own system, for our own use. The individual visit records are deleted automatically after 45 days; only the day-by-day totals are kept.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information. Not to anyone, ever.
• We don't add you to a marketing list without you asking.
• We don't text or call you about anything other than the request you sent.
• Our first-party visit counter is described above. The embedded HighLevel form and Google Maps connect to third-party services with their own cookie settings.

Maps

Our service-area pages embed maps from Google. When one of those maps loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, exactly as it would on any site that uses their maps — that part is between you and Google. We've set the embeds not to tell Google which page you were reading, and they don't load at all until you scroll down to them.

Getting your information removed

Call us on (614) 290-2656 and ask. We'll delete your request and our notes on it, and confirm it's gone.

Changes

If we add advertising measurement to this site later, we'll update this page before we turn it on.
